Where is this location? (South of Five Mile Pass)

I know the location is somewhere south of Five Mile Pass and North of Eureka, but I just can't quite recall. This canyon is by far one of my favorite locations in the spring/summer and fall.

If you know where this photo was taken (by me), do Comment or PM me with approx. GPSr coordinates:

My guess is the road that goes over 10 mile pass on the south side of the 5 mile pass area. I have never taken a GPS reading on it but I have ridden around the 10 mile pass loop several times. Great area.

Do you mean 12 Mile Pass? I'm guessing its just North of 12 Mile Pass, somewhere near the geocache labelled: "Hey Bubba I found your car", but Google Earth doesn't show what I recall: A split in the trail, banking North and South.

I have always known the area where I am thinking of as 10 mile pass and it is listed on utahatvtrails.com's map and the Utah Road and Recereation Atlas as 10 mile pass. Maybe a little further south there is a 12 mile pass or other people may refer to this area as 12 mile pass but I have only known it as 10 mile pass. I haven't followed the geocaching info to any area sites but I have followed your excursions out into that area and enjoy your site here. I am still waiting for you to invite people to go on down to Eureka on one of your loop excursions. I saw you did it last weekend but you had said, in an earlier comment, if my memory serves me correctly, that you were going a little further south so I didn't respond to your invitation to join you. Richard

BTW I saw and recongnized your crew cut at the finish line of the SLC 5K and yelled Brute Force but it was probalby to loud for you to hear. I was waiting for my wife and daughter to finish the walk.

Well, I'm camping this weekend (weather permitting) in the Jericho area, but I'll be heading back to the Eureka area in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm determined to bag the Sportsmans Survival Kit up Mill Canyon and anticipate in 2-3 weeks, it will be passable without the need for snow shoes.

I'll be sure to send you a PM next go around.

I hope the weather works out for you. My wife and I are headed down to Kanab to do the Paria River 2009 ride. We really enjoyed the Mail Drop ride during the Tri State ATV Jamboree and thought we would do some more exploring and riding down that way. This sounded like a fun way to do that. Good luck this weekend, hope you stay dry and safe.
