Over the weekend of 21-22-23 March, I had the opportunity to camp and ride in the area of the Wickiup. (I-70, Exit 131, about 15 miles West of Green River, Utah).
The first order of business was to find a route into Black Dragon Canyon, so that Friday afternoon, I took of alone to map out a route, with the intent of riding it again Saturday - but then heading all the way into Green River (~160 miles) and back.
Tracks for the area are here:
Using my SPOT satellite tracker, I was able to map out the route as follows:

A few photos and YouTube video of the area:
Will joined me on Saturday for the ride into Green River.
Looking into the mouth of Black Dragon from the TH.
A pictograph from the panel at the back-end of Black Dragon.
Another pictograph. I wonder what this is..
A very worn-out bridge we had to cross just West of HWY24 (Goblin Valley)
Lunch break in Coal Wash.
An interestingly dirty pond/lake found en route to Green River. I believe this is fed by an underground hot spring.
Calf Mesa Uranium mine.
This dozer has likely been sitting up on the plateau for at least 50 years.
Sealed off mine entrance found above Calf Mesa..
